A word from Mireille Deyglun

I’ll be displaying my hope for a smoke-free world!

The reason I’m reasserting my hope for a smoke-free world is that one Quebecer in every five still smokes, and one young adult (20-24 years old) in every three is still addicted to tobacco.

I’ll be using self-adhesive (Post-it) notes to convey my commitment to the people I love.  For my children, I’ll draw a smiley face so that they know I’ll always be there to help them resist the temptation to light up.  For my friend François, I’ll stick a word of encouragement on his mirror, encouraging him to try and quit one more time.  For my other friend Jean-Pierre, I’ll be leaving a note under his windscreen wiper, congratulating him for reasserting his intention to never touch a cigarette again.

I want to offer them a smoke-free world – with love from me.
